If one of the following holidays falls on a WEEKDAY, your trash day will run a day late. For example if Christmas Day or New Year’s Day was to fall on a Monday the trash would run a day late. Not if it falls on a weekend. The Major Holidays that we recognize are the following:
CHRISTMAS DAY
NEW YEAR’S DAY
LABOR DAY
MEMORIAL DAY
THANKSGIVING
FOURTH OF JULY (We will be picking up on July 5)
The banks and other federal agencies recognize other holidays. We only recognize the ones listed above.
